This is a large three-story apartment project for seniors that was developed with tax credit financing in cooperation with the Dallas Housing Authority, who owned the land and provides the tenants. Simultaneously being built in two sections of 180 units each, the project consists exclusively of small and efficient one bedroom units. The typical tenant is a widow in her mid 70s. These apartments are part of a CCRC being developed on the same tract which will contain an assisted living and a skilled nursing facility. In addition to the customary amenities, this project includes a spacious multi-purpose building which will serve regular meals to residents. Within this building are adaptable areas for large screen TV viewing and other activities. Each phase has a large landscaped courtyard with a covered pavilion, landscaping and pathways. The Community center has a health center, business office, multi-purpose classroom, medical exam/counseling room, conference room, and a large community room with kitchen.
