This unit, which serves as the architect's family residence, is located in Four Leaf Towers, a twin tower project designed by Cesar Pelli in the late 1970s. After completely gutting the interiror, the focus of the new design was to provide a warm intimate environment and focus on the outstanding views of the onsite pool, surrounding landscaping and downtown skyline; showcase modern and African art; furnish the unit with classic furniture designed by noted architects and designers, including Mies Van der Rohe, Corbusier, Platner, McKintosh and Noguchi, as well as custom millwork designed by the architect. Subdued neutral colors serve to frame the views, while mirrors expand the space and admit more daylight to create a sense of continuity beyond reality. Accordingly, translucent glass panels were added to the interior doors to bring natural light further into the interior.
