This sixty-unit affordable family apartment project is developed under the tax credit program administered by the TDHCA. It consists of 4 two-story apartment buildings and a community building on a seven-acre site in the Rio Grande Valley. Like Weslaco and Bowie Gardens, all units will have their own washers and dryers and either covered patios or balconies. Scheduled for completion in October of 2015, this project will also incorporate native and adaptive plant materials. The central courtyard will focus on the swimming pool and pavilion, with the adjoining playground and adjacent community center building.
